With Canada closed to USA boats for the foreseeable future, and marinas along the east coast of Lake Michigan struggling to even get open due to the high lake levels, it is hard to see where this summer will take Duncan and his crew aboard Respite.
Still, Respite is in the water and we have sailed once, which was glorious.
While we explore our future, I will post this video of our young friend Isaac making his way up our mast to retrieve a line from the stack pack that escaped.
They say you never forget your first time and I suspect that Isaac will remember his. His brother Jacob was on the winch.
